The Opportunity
This role forms part of our Reservations Team that is ideas driven, ever dynamic, and guest experience focused.
Joining some of the best and brightest people in the hotel and hospitality industry, you’ll report to the Reservations Manager where you will actively participate in interpreting guest needs and articulating and curating unique guest experiences to deliver the Q signature service for our guests and local community.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include;
- Process and inputting all reservations bookings following hotel reservations policy and guidelines (individual, group and corporate bookings).
- Ensure a timely response to all reservation enquiries.
- Ensure all reservations details are accurate and actioned timely on the same working day.
- Contribute to upselling initiatives through the reservations and front office teams.
- Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise overall hotel revenue.
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
- Liaise with the Sales Team ensuring they are supported with all group, event and wedding bookings.

- Previous experience in a reservations, hotel reception or customer facing role is highly regarded.
- Exceptional telephone manner and etiquette.
- Professional and personable demeanour, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- A friendly and proactive approach in resolving issues.
- Previous experience working with Hotel Booking and Property Management Systems(experience with Protel highly regarded).
