About the role
As part of our Service Now practice, the Senior Service Now Technical Consultant will support and assist with the design and development of IT solutions and IT Services to support customer and business strategies.
You will focus on technical project delivery and consulting, working in partnership with the Service Now Practice Team, the AC3 Project Management Office, and our customers, while mentoring more junior engineers in the team.
Some of your main responsibilities will be
- Design and implement solutions that provide value, are relevant, and sustainable.
- Contribute as technical / SME to support qualification, scoping, estimation, design, and architecture of new or existing opportunities and projects.
- Resolve complex configuration and integration challenges.
- Play a key role in the delivery of complex and/or marquee projects and engagements.
- Proactively lead and mentor team members in meeting deadlines, setting customer expectations, and jointly developing specialised skills.
- Partner with Service Now Solution Architects to mature and improve the frameworks we deliver under
- Lead, plan and deliver customer workshops including discovery and co-design workshops.
- Become a "trusted" advisor within key customer account and consult on Service Now strategy and design.
- Maintain excellent service levels to our customers
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as an end-to-end Service Now Consultant focused on Migration, Transformation and IT Outsourcing initiatives
- Experience in a customer-facing consulting and/or pre-sales role.
- Experience in taking business challenges and translating them into a suitable technical solutions via Service Now
- Strong Application development and integration experience.
- Strong experience across ITSM, ITOM and/or Sec Ops modules
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Proven ability to innovate, adapt, and work under pressure in complex environment with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer services skills
- Relevant Industry certifications such as ITIL, Service Now CSA, Service Now CIS, etc.
