Legal Counsel - Isuzu Australia Limited in Melbourne

Continued growth has created an opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join the in-house team at Isuzu Australia Limited's Truganina office.

The Role: Assisting the General Counsel to mitigate legal risks to the business, the successful applicant will provide legal advice and legal support to the IAL Leadership Team and departments on day-to-day operational issues. This is a true BAU role with opportunities to work across company contracts and procurement, IP/IT, privacy, HR and dispute resolution matters. Your role will be varied and exciting with no two days the same.

Have you been looking to move in-house? Do you have either litigation, consumer, competition, commercial and/or contracting experience from a Top 10 private practice firm, or similar in-house experience, as well as employment continuity? If so, we want to hear from you. Our client is cognisant that applicants may have specialised in a particular area (e.g Corporate M&A, Projects, Disputes, Competition or IT/IP), if so, you will be given the opportunity to upskill and learn in the role.

The role is based at Isuzu Australia Limited's head office and operates under a hybrid model of three days in the office and two days working from home. Strong financial benefits include 15% superannuation and a generous lease vehicle subsidy. Remuneration will be discussed confidentially with suitable candidates and will reflect experience. Full or partial remote arrangements from interstate cannot be considered.
