We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Abbey Animal Health Pty Ltd in East Bendigo, Victoria. This is a full-time permanent position, offering a stable and rewarding career opportunity.
What you'll be doing:
- Receiving, unloading, unpacking, and storing incoming goods and materials
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders to customers
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control
- Assisting with general warehouse operations and housekeeping duties
- Assist with loading and unloading freight vehicles
- Contributing to a safe and efficient work environment
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and customer service teams
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
- Must have a minimum of 1 year warehouse experience within the manufacturing industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain) would be highly regarded
- A current Forklift licence of any class is required
- Physically fit with the ability to safely lift objects up to 25kg
