Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to join a friendly dental team? Maven Dental Boyd Street is looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to support our practice, with occasional shifts available at Maven Dental Tugun.
With 2–4 days of work available per week, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility while being part of a supportive team focused on providing excellent patient care.
Job Description
As a Casual Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients have a positive experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting dentists and clinicians chairside during dental procedures.
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in line with infection control standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised clinical environment.
- Supporting the smooth running of daily practice operations.
- Helping patients feel comfortable and welcome throughout their visit.
- Working across Maven Dental Boyd Street, with occasional shifts at Maven Dental Tugun.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and enjoys working as part of a team.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous dental assisting experience, which would be highly regarded.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to infection control.
- The flexibility to work across both practice locations when required.
- A genuine passion for patient care and delivering a great patient experience.
