About the Role
You’ll be carrying out fabrication, welding, repairs and modifications on mining equipment components, including:
- Structural fabrication and repairs
- Heavy equipment component repairs
- Welding and fabrication of steel components
- General workshop fabrication
- Repairs and modifications to mining equipment
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Boilermaker Trade Qualification CERT III (required)
- Current Driver’s License
- Previous experience in heavy fabrication or mining equipment repairs
- Strong MIG and/or Stick welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
