Position Overview
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and service standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and supplier orders to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards while maintaining a well-organized kitchen.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques, flavor balancing, and food presentation.
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a relevant culinary qualification.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire a team.
