This is a varied small-business role covering MYOB, accounts administration, customer communication and general office support. You will be joining an established local business with a friendly team, varied work and a role where you will become an important part of the day-to-day operation.
Key responsibilities
- MYOB accounts administration
- Invoicing and monitoring customer payments
- Accounts receivable and customer follow-up
- Assisting with payroll administration
- Supplier invoices, quotes and purchase orders
- Answering incoming calls and customer enquiries
- Professional email and customer communication
- Setting up and maintaining job administration and records
- Maintaining accurate electronic filing and documentation
- Assisting the operations and project team with general administration
About you
- Experienced in office administration and/or accounts
- Comfortable using MYOB
- Accurate and well organised
- Confident speaking with customers, suppliers and staff
- Professional on the phone and by email
- Comfortable following up payments and outstanding information
- Able to prioritise and manage several tasks at once
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Proactive, you notice what needs doing and follow it through
- Comfortable working in a practical, fast-moving small business
