Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed architectural and technical drawings for customised products.
Develop plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
Produce workshop and fabrication drawings for metal engineering projects.
Prepare drawings for doors, windows, staircases, furniture and balustrades.
Interpret architectural designs, sketches and project specifications.
Use CAD software to prepare, modify and update technical drawings.
Coordinate with designers, engineers, manufacturers and other stakeholders.
Ensure drawings meet project specifications, accuracy requirements and relevant Australian standards.
Review and revise drawings to accommodate design changes and manufacturing requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in architectural drafting or a similar role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
Knowledge of architectural drawings, construction details and manufacturing documentation.
Understanding of metal fabrication and architectural products will be highly regarded.
Strong technical drawing, problem-solving and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Salary and Employment
Salary: AUD 80,000 – AUD 90,000 per annum.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
