7R Logistics is seeking an experienced MC Tanker Driver to join our growing team based in Gympie, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of tanker loads across our service network.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate and safely drive articulated tanker vehicles (MC) in compliance with all relevant road transport regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections to ensure the tanker is in safe working condition.
- Manage loading and unloading procedures, ensuring proper containment and documentation of hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery documentation and records in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Deliver tanker loads to specified destinations on time whilst maintaining professional customer service standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and best practices for transporting hazardous materials, including proper use of safety equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and other team members regarding delivery updates and any issues encountered.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle and comply with fatigue management regulations.
What we're looking for:
- Current MC Class Licence with a clean driving record and no significant traffic violations.
- Proven experience operating articulated tanker vehicles in road transport.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
