About the Company

4 Healthcare Recruitment is proud to be partnering with an established multidisciplinary allied health provider supporting children, young people and their families across Melbourne's western suburbs.

The organisation takes a collaborative, family-centred and neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, helping children develop communication skills, build confidence and participate in everyday life. Clinicians work alongside families, educators and other allied health professionals to deliver practical, evidence-informed and strengths-based support.

About the Role

An opportunity is available for a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join a supportive multidisciplinary team, working with children and their families across Melbourne's western suburbs.

This is a predominantly community-based role, with approximately 80% of your work taking place in schools and kindergartens and 20% involving home visits. You'll work with a mixed caseload of private clients and NDIS participants, supporting children with a range of communication needs, including speech sound development, language, social communication, early language, literacy, fluency and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

You’ll develop meaningful goals with families, provide individualised therapy and collaborate with parents, educators and other allied health professionals to support children’s communication and participation across everyday environments.

The organisation values neurodiversity-affirming practice, focusing on children’s strengths, individual needs and quality of life. Flexible working arrangements are available, with opportunities for professional development, supervision and collaboration.
