We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista All Rounder to join our vibrant team at 3Eightnine Scarborough, a popular café and bar located in the heart of Scarborough, Queensland. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality coffee, cocktails, and other beverages. Your role will be integral to creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our customers have a memorable experience.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, cocktails, and other beverages to customers
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, anticipating customer needs and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food preparation and service as required
- Contribute to the overall operations of the café and bar, including cash handling and inventory management
- Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance standards
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or Bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, including the ability to create latte art
- Experience in preparing a variety of cocktails and mixed drinks
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
