About the role
As a laundry attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring all uniforms and linen from our rooms and the restaurant are washed, pressed, and returned, allowing our team members to provide true hospitality to all of our guests. It's up to you to ensure that all washed linen looks fresh and clean.
Critical responsibilities:
- Ensure correct usage of all equipment
- Maintain linen room and equipment in high standard of cleanliness and repair
- Comply with and demonstrate awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Washing, drying, pressing, and folding clean linen from rooms and outlets
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps
