An exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator to join a well-established and reputable electrical engineering and industrial services business.

Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will provide administrative support across the Operations department, with a particular focus on the company's Integrated Management System (IMS), document control, quality assurance and workplace health and safety processes.

This is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and can confidently manage competing priorities.

The Role

Working closely with the Operations team and Projects & IMS Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating IMS documentation, company procedures, policies and work instructions.
  • Supporting quality assurance, WHS compliance and internal audit processes.
  • Assisting with corrective actions, non-conformance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing document control systems, registers, company records and technical documentation.
  • Coordinating employee training, inductions and maintaining associated records.
  • Recording workplace incidents, near misses and relevant safety documentation.
  • Providing general administrative support, including job creation, purchase orders, reporting, minute-taking and document preparation.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure administrative processes and compliance requirements are maintained.
  • You

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys variety, takes initiative and is comfortable supporting different departments within a busy operational environment.

Ideally, you will bring

  • Previous experience in administration, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, construction or industrial environment.
  • Experience with document control, compliance administration, quality assurance or WHS processes.
  • Exposure to Integrated Management Systems (IMS), internal audits or ISO-related documentation would be highly regarded.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks and work both independently and within a small team.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives.

The team is growing and thrives with lots of enthusiasm and ideas.

The company culture values initiative & progress, team & customer relationships, and contributions from all towards continuous improvement.

If you are an experienced administrator with an interest in quality, compliance and operational support, we would love to hear from you.
