Do you have your own lived/living experience as a consumer of mental health services, including a personal change process and/or recovery? Have you worked in a designated Consumer LLE role as a peer support worker or Consumer Consultant in a clinical or community mental health service? Do you believe you have what it takes to help Consumer LLE workers thrive and stay true to the values of our workforce?

If you answered yes, we want you.

If your lived experience includes co-occurring issues (mental health and AOD, or mental health and harm reduction), we still would love to hear from you.

We strongly encourage applications from First Nations peoples, people from LGBTQIA+ communities, people from rural and remote regions of Victoria, and others from diverse backgrounds.

About the role:

  • 0.6 FTE (45.6 hours per fortnight)
  • SCHADS Award Grade 5, plus salary packaging (up to $15,900 per annum)

The Collective is seeking an organised, enthusiastic facilitator to play a key role in the development and delivery of training for the Consumer LLE workforce.

You will:

  • Support the administration, development, delivery, evaluation and facilitation of training for the Consumer LLE workforce, in person and online
  • Lead the development and delivery of Consumer LLEW Communities of Practice
  • Draw on your own lived experience to shape training content and workforce development opportunities
  • Work collaboratively across the Collective’s Mental Health, AOD, Harm Reduction, Family/Carer and Consumer LLE Workforce discipline frameworks
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for on‑site and off‑site training and events
  • Build relationships with sector partners and other lived experience facilitators
  • Maintain accurate records and support data tracking and reporting

About you:

This is a Consumer lived and living experience designated role.

You will bring:

  • Experience in a designated Consumer LLEW role, and the ability to draw thoughtfully on your lived experience in your work
  • Experience and confidence in training development, presenting (in person and online) and group facilitation
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team, and with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Zoom/Teams
  • Sensitivity when working with people of diverse cultures, backgrounds, abilities, ages, sexualities and gender identities

Experience in co-design or co-production, eLearning design and delivery, or using an LMS would be highly regarded.
