Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Install roof tiles on residential and commercial buildings in accordance with project specifications and Australian Standards
- Carry out roof restoration and re-roofing works as required across assigned projects
- Repair and replace damaged, broken, or weather-affected roof tiles
- Prepare roof surfaces for tile installation, including inspection, cleaning, and setting out
- Apply underlay, sarking, insulation, and waterproofing materials as part of roofing systems
- Measure, cut, position, and secure roofing tiles to ensure accurate alignment and durable finishes
- Inspect completed roofing work to ensure compliance with quality standards and building regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams and site supervisors to complete roofing projects efficiently
- Maintain roofing tools, equipment, and ensure work areas are kept clean and safe
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures while working at heights and on active construction sites
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant qualification
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Roof Tiler
- Strong experience in residential and commercial roof tiling systems
- Ability to interpret roofing plans and project specifications
- Knowledge of roofing materials, waterproofing, and installation methods
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights in outdoor conditions
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $79,000 – $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
