Epic Air Commercial is a specialist provider of commercial HVAC, mechanical ventilation, and air conditioning solutions across Sydney. We are committed to delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services for a wide range of commercial and industrial clients. Our client is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team! Duties and responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to determine installation requirements and establish installation reference points.
- Install and commission commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
- Drill holes, install mounting brackets, and cut, bend, and thread piping as required for system installation.
- Repair refrigeration and air conditioning components, including compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, gauges, and associated pipework.
- Connect equipment using bolting, soldering, brazing, welding, and other mechanical joining techniques.
- Conduct pressure testing and leak detection by filling systems with gas or fluids and rectifying identified issues.
- Test and commission refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
- Recover refrigerants using vacuum pumps and recharge systems in accordance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Diagnose faults, overhaul refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and repair or replace defective components.
- Adjust system controls, calibrate equipment, and reassemble systems following maintenance and repair work.
- Complete reports and maintain accurate records of works completed, repairs undertaken, and corrective actions implemented.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
- Minimum of 2
- 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience preferred.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $90.000 - $100.000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
