Agitator Driver in Margaret River

About the role:

• Rates: $35.74ph plus penalties (rate X 1.5 after 8 hours, rate X 2.0 after 10 hours).
• You will be based at Margaret River Concrete Plant.
• Most days will start at 7am-3pm and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 - 55 hours per week.
• Driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels; you will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before.
• We provide cutting edge technology to keep you safe whilst driving, help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.
• All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you work independently.
• Occasional concrete batching when required.

About you:

• Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred).
• You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite.
• You prefer variety in your working life; no two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks.
• You take pride in the appearance of your truck; keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites).
