Agitator Driver – Innisfail

Drive and deliver a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials. Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with various people. Every day will be different; there's nothing routine about this role!

Position based in Innisfail! This is casual leading to full-time for the right candidate. Hourly rate + 25% casual loading + super + overtime (rate X 1.5 after 8 hours, rate X 2.0 after 10 hours). Most days will start between 2am and 7am, and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, around 50-55 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates.

Driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before. We provide cutting-edge technology to keep you safe whilst driving, help you map your routes, and keep track of your loads. All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you drive independently.

About you

• Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred).
• You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite.
• You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks.
• You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash, and present the best image of our company.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites).
