- Build backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
- Design microservice architecture and develop new services from scratch
- Maintain, evolve, and optimize existing high-load services
- Work with systems handling large volumes of traffic and data
- Design communication between services using RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Work with SQL databases
- Contribute to infrastructure running on AWS and Kubernetes
- Build and improve service monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
- Make architectural and technical decisions and own their implementation
- Contribute to engineering practices and technical standards across the team
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in backend development with Node.js
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and NestJS
- Hands-on experience designing and building microservice-based systems
- Experience working with high-load products and services
- Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
- Solid understanding of scalable and fault-tolerant system design
- The ability to make technical decisions independently and take ownership of the outcome
